Excellent nightlight. The brightness is just about right and hopefully it will last a long time. One would think the LED would be replaceable, but no such luck. Not huge, so it can be installed even if the outlet box is crowded - don't need a deep box.

It does just what it says it does. And very Well, too. Not as bright as I had hoped, but bright enough.

Plenty bright

Great product. Bright enough for an entire hallway, but not too bright. A little on the expensive side but hopefully it lasts for years.

Not as bright as a tradition nightlight, BUT given the longevity of LCD and the quality components used, this production is a no brainer 5 star.

This was exactly what I was looking for. The light is bright enough to light our hallway at night, but not so bright that the light can be seen from any of the rooms off of the hallway. And it is completely toddler-proof!

Nice design! Basic knowledge of AC receptacle wiring required. LED is too dim, could have been brighter.

Product is easy to install but does not provide as much light as anticipated

First of all, the manufacturer's paperwork states that these will last 20 years, not 40. These also have a tendency to "beam" instead of flooding with light, which can be a concern for a night light. Also, with the light sensor being inside the housing light has to be very bright and come from the right side of the surface in order to get the LEDs to shut off during the day. So what do I think of these? I love them! I bought 6 initially and then bought another 4 after those were installed. installation was easy and the output is just what I was expecting. I was tired of replacing bulbs on 4 plug in photosensitive nightlights, so these fit the bill perfectly and I would definately recommend them.
