The Decorator Full Hallway Light w/Sensor wires in like a switch and uses bright white LEDs to light the way. Unlike standard nightlight bulbs, which can burn hot and waste electricity, energy-efficient LEDs can be expected to last over 20 years. This LED light even has a built-in photo sensor that turns the light on automatically when ambient light is reduced. The Decorator Full Hallway Light w/Sensor will fit in a single-gang electrical box (sold separately); a wall plate is sold separately, as well.

    Had difficulties to install in jim box, it did not fit because of the braket screws, had to remove boxes and put washers on screws. Lights are bright, but sensor does not work and lights stay on all the time.

    These lights are perfect for our dark stairwell. We bought and installed three very easily, but they give off so much light that we probably only needed two. Sensitivity is such that they may stay lit on cloudy days, but on bright days they are off.

    The photo sensor that turns the light on and off was not very sensitive. Sunlight had to be shining directly into it inorder for the nightlight to turn off. It would not work in a stairway that had moderate natural light. In other words, the night light stayed on all the time, even when there was enough natural light to see. I tested the sensor with a flashlight and determined that it would only turn off the light when the beam of the flashlight was aimed directly into it. The product would be better if there was a way to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor.

    Very effective as a night light. Easy to install. Unfortunately, the light sensor is ineffective - the LED stays on constantly though it will dim slightly if I shine a flashlight directly onto the sensor.

    I agree with the previous commenter, they work well and are real bright in the dark but take direct daylight in order to shut off. Even bright internal lighting does not turn them off. They need a more sensitive sensor.

    Beautiful design nicest on the market and extremely kid friendly, however 20 year LED lifetime is a bot of a stretch. Mine lasted only 6 months! Looks only go so far, if you have $30.00 to spend on a night-light every 6months, then this product is for you. Otherwise, save your money and buy the plug-in-style for a few bucks that actually do last! I would not recommend this product at all!

    These lights actually came installed in my brand new home, the builders electrician installs them in the stair step risers at about every 3rd step, which illuminates the steps nicely. Great product.

    Nice bright light for the hallway, however it doesn't shut off during the day or when I turn on the hall light. Maybe the eye is not sensitive enough.
