Make any electrical switch into an X10 transmitter switch with the dry contact transmitters below. Use with custom switches, antique switches (in historic homes) or in any application where you do not want to use the Decora style X10 transmitters.

Use the maintained contact unit with toggle type switches (switches that flip one way for on and the other way for off).
Each dry contact transmitter handles up to 4 inputs on 4 sequential X10 addresses. Install the dry contact transmitter in a convenient hidden location, such as the attic, and then run low voltage wiring to the 4 switches you want to use to trigger the X10 signals.
Send ON/OFF X10 signals to 4 sequential X10 addresses in response to dry contact closure. It has 4 input leads that correspond to any 4 sequential X10 addresses. Fits into a standard wall switch box and Decora® trim plate. Example Applications: - Turn on X10 lights when door (A) opens and have them stay on even after the door is closed again.
- Turn on X10 lights when the large gauge model train passes point (X) and momentarily depresses a switch, and turn off lights when train passes point (Y).
