Use the maintained contact unit with toggle type switches (switches that flip one way for on and the other way for off).

Each dry contact transmitter handles up to 4 inputs on 4 sequential X10 addresses. Install the dry contact transmitter in a convenient hidden location, such as the attic, and then run low voltage wiring to the 4 switches you want to use to trigger the X10 signals.

Send ON/OFF X10 signals to 4 sequential X10 addresses in response to dry contact closure. It has 4 input leads that correspond to any 4 sequential X10 addresses. Fits into a standard wall switch box and Decora® trim plate. Example Applications:

Turn on X10 lights when door (A) opens and have them stay on even after the door is closed again.
