Essential Info

If your home doesn't have a pre-wired doorbell for the front entrance, or if you want to simply add a doorbell to another entrance to your home, this kit is the perfect solution. The battery powered doorbell push button module can be mounted almost anywhere using double sided tape or screws, and the chime/strobe module can be plugged into any available outlet within a 100 foot range of the push button. This means no wiring or professional installation is required. Select from two different chime/strobe settings: Ding-Dong (strobe will flash two times, play the two note tune, then flash two more) and Westminster (strobe will flash eight times, play the eight note tune, then flash eight more times). When the doorbell is pushed, an RF signal is sent out and the chime/strobe module will be activated. This versatile device also has an adjustable volume setting which goes up to 75 dB. The Wireless Door Chime with Strobe Light Alert will also work well with apartments, travel trailers, back entrances, garages, dorm rooms, offices and is perfect for the hearing impaired or for noisy environments. Note that RF does not transmit through metal structures. This product requires the use of alkaline A23 12V battery, included.

Adjustable Communication
While most installations will work right out of the box, there are built-in jumpers that can be changed if your device is not working. Adjusting the jumper will help prevent interference and allow your chime and push button to operate properly. There are 128 selectable codes that can be used.

I use this as an inexpensive alternative to an intercom for an office across the sidewalk from the main house. My wife can get my attention without calling or walking next door. The range is not good through two outside walls, but I put the button next to a window in the house, and the chime in an office window directly across from the window with the button. Works like a charm. It's the Pavlov's dog doorbell.

The push button switch is somewhat finicky about how you push it to get it to work, and the strobe quit working within a couple of weeks. Am following up on warranty.
