This affordable Version II X10 Indoor Wireless Motion Sensor makes occupancy sensing X10 control easy. Simply attach to the wall with screws or self adhesive strips. This slim line sensor transmits RF signals to any X10 RF receiver or any X10 security system base receiver. The receiver then transmits an X10 ON signal on the selected address. After motion stops, the sensor sends an X10 OFF signal. The OFF signal is adjustable anywhere between 1 to 256 minutes after motion stops. A secondary function sends an X10 ON signal when it gets dark and then off again when it gets light. For example, if the motion sensor is set to address A1 for motion sensing, it will ALSO send an A2 ON at dusk and an A2 OFF at dawn. Since this Version II X10 Indoor Wireless Motion Sensor sends radio signals, an X10 Transceiver Module will be needed to convert the radio signals to X10 commands for the electricity lines. Use the 16 Device RF Base to convert the signals. Additionally, this motion sensor is not designed to work as an alarm zone on the X10 alarm systems like the 7300 and 7301 series. The Version II X10 Indoor Wireless Motion Sensor requires 2 AAA batteries, which are sold separately.

Use this Version II X10 Indoor Wireless Motion Sensor to automatically turn on X10 lights when someone walks into the room. A built-in photocell ensures that it operates only when it is dark. When used with an intelligent controller like the Activehome unit or any of the other 2-way X10 controllers in this catalog, you can use the motion detector to initiate elaborate "scenes." Walk into the room and have several lights come on to various dim levels, play music, and even adjust temperature automatically.
