Now you can have it all in one remote. This IR remote can control up to 8 audio/video devices including 18" satellite systems. It is pre-programmed with the IR codes for most major brands of equipment for convenience, and it also has learning capability. You can teach it any key IR codes for advanced functions from your existing remote, or codes from equipment not in the pre-programmed memory. Learns codes into any three banks.

If that isn�t enough, it also sends X10 RF signals to any X10 RF receiver base or any personal assistance system to control X10 devices. A backlit button allows you to use the remote in darkened rooms. Remote uses 4 AAA batteries (not included).

The radio signals sent by the remote control will not directly control a UHF satellite dish receiver or other audio-video gear which only receives RF signals. The RF portion of the remote control is only for controlling home automation products.
