Put this handsomely designed maxi controller next to your easy chair or on your desk and you'll have instant, one-touch control of up to 16 different X10 compatible receivers (more than enough for most X10 "Tim Allens"). By changing the House Code wheel on the front of the X10 Maxi Controller, you can easily control all of the 256 X10 addresses. Plus, you can use the X10 Maxi Controller to send signals to intelligent 2-way controllers to activate preprogrammed command (macros).

    More Info

    With the X10 Maxi Controller you'll have 16 device keys and 6 keys for ON/OFF, DIM/BRIGHT and ALL ON/ALL OFF right at your fingertips. To control a device, simply press the key for the device you want to control. Then touch the ON/OFF or DIM/BRIGHT command key. That's all there is to it. There's even an LED that lets you know when X10 commands are being sent. If you'd like send any X10 address without the need for a code wheel, check out the ControLinc Maxi, which also features pre-programmed scene setup commands.

    For easy addressing, insert an X10 Code Clicker (sold separately) into the dial wheel.

    This controller replaces the version of the one we bought back in 1985. There are no problems using this newer version with the older setup. We use it for many things- outdoor lights including Christmas lights, garden electric fence, on/off switch for our hot water continuous flow pump, and remote appliances.

    This device is a little clunky. There are too many buttons to make it easy to use next to the nightstand, but it works well when you're wide awake (and sober).

    I purchased my first X-10 controller 31 years ago from Sears. It still works. Thes controller replaces one I got from RadioShack about 10 years ago. This controller is the greatest. Big buttons are hard to miss and the red power light allows me to find the controller in the dark. All in all an excellant device.

    These controllers look good and work perfectly to control the lights in my house. I particularly like the fact that they can control sixteen different lights. I bought them to replace old, worn out controllers that were nearly 30 years old. The only drawback to the new ones is that they don't respond to the ultrasonic remote controller that worked with the old ones.

    This unit replaces an earlier X-10 (We had had for at least 15 years, or more.) and it was OK but the lid / cover had been broken. I was concerned that it, the new one, would work with the old controlers and it did! I'm very pleased.

    easy to use, have had some trouble getting it to respond to the rest of our system, had to plug it in and then disconnect and replug it in to get it to work on one occasion,very nice appearance.
