Hubbell’s USB Charger Receptacle provides both USB and electrical power in a standard single gang electrical opening. Designed to provide more charging options for personal electronics, the USB ports are capable of charging two tablets simultaneously. The 15 Amp tamper-resistant Style Line decorator outlet provides additional power for appliance use. More power means faster charges, the time to charge an iPAD or similar tablet from 0% battery charge to 100%, is estimated between 5 to 6 hours.
The Hubbell USB Charger is not only powerful and convenient, it is also economical. The estimated cost to use this device charging two USB devices (tablets drawing maximum power) for six hours a day is around $4.72 per year. This Hubbell USB Charger is available in five different colors to fit any décor and is compatible with any decorator style wall plate, sold separately.
