This Smart Shirt features a 3"x5" clear, zippered pocket designed specifically to hold a Smartphone near the left hip so you'll be able to move freely and always know exactly where it is. Worried about the pain of having to unzip and pull your phone out when you want to use it? Don't be because Alphyn has taken care of this problem with their Wearcom technology so that convenience isn't sacrificed. The pocket is covered by the Wearcom scratch resistant polymer film which integrates seamlessly with touch-screen phones to recognize the touch of a finger so that things such as texting or emailing aren't affected and work just as they would in a hand. This also makes pushing buttons easy to do on QWERTY keyboards like a Blackberry. The shirt also has a shoulder tab designed to run headphone cord through if connecting a pair to a Smartphone, iPod or MP3 player. This tab has two convenient purposes which are to keep that cord from moving all over the place while walking and to keep headphones in one place when taken out of ears.

I had the opportunity to check this shirt out first hand and it definitely is unlike any other shirt I've come across or seen. The Smartphone pocket on the side of the shirt keeps your phone at very convenient to see and use angle but did take a little getting used to since routine is to go straight to my pocket for my phone. The film over the pocket worked great with both the touch-screen interface of an iPhone and Galaxy S II though it was a little tricky getting each phone in due to the sticky nature of the film. Some extra space in the pocket was nice for storing earphones or something similar. Overall I thought it was a pretty innovative and cool way to incorporate the Smartphone into the design of a shirt while keeping the shirt pretty normal looking. A cool and unique product for any techie.
