Get the most out of your home HVAC system with the CT80 Touchscreen RF Communicating Thermostat. This is a wireless digital thermostat designed to control most HVAC systems, including standard systems and heat pumps. With its large, backlit graphical display and five control buttons, this thermostat is simple to program and add to your home automation network, using a ZigBee, WiFi, or Z-Wave module (sold separately). The LCD display can show multiple screens, making it simple to navigate and operate the numerous functions of the thermostat. On-screen filtera and maintenance reminders can be easily programmed to suit your system's requirements. Requires 24VAC for operation. You can control standard gas/electric or heat pump systems with the CT80. Up to three stages of heat and two stages of cool can be programmed and it comes pre-programmed with Energy Star's recommended settings; though these settings can be customized to suit your family's needs. Using the recommended Energy Star settings can save households up to $180 a year in reduced energy costs by not overworking your system when it isn't needed. In addition to the normal weekly program you use, you may also select "Holiday" to repeat a program for a set period, "Vacation" to hold the home at a preset temperature (for instance, to keep your pipes from freezing at your vacation home), "Emergency Heat" to activate your heat pump auxiliary heat source, and "Hold" to keep a set temp indefinitely. Add a Z-Wave USNAP Module to connect the thermostat to your Z-Wave network, allowing control of your HVAC system from anywhere in the world with internet access, including your smartphone.
