The Sunterra 114516 clean water fountain pump provides the appropriate water flow for medium sized fountains and has a one year limited manufacturer warranty. It operates efficiently for extended periods of time with no regular maintenance. This pump should be used in clean water to avoid any interference with the pumps operation. The lift of the pump is important to consider when the pump is required to power a fountain, feature, stream or waterfall. The lift is the number of gallons a pump will push per hour to a specific height. This particular fountain pump has a 130 gallons per hour capacity and a 4 foot maximum lift.

The pump is the heart of a water garden. Without it, water will not circulate to create a healthy and balanced ecosystem. Sunterra pumps circulate water to help prevent breeding conditions for unwanted insects while oxygenating it for plants and fish.
