Amateur astronomers can now just point the portable handheld device at any star in the sky, and the SkyScout will spout off a wealth of information: In addition to speaking and showing in text the name of the star or planet, it will entertain and educate you with facts, trivia, history and mythology. With over 6000 heavenly bodies loaded in its database, SkyScout will guide you to any star or planet you want to know about. Best of all, this point-and-click device is simple enough for all ages to use right out of the box. The SkyScout Personal Planetarium runs on two AA batteries (sold separately).
