An 18 Watt Folding Solar Panel with 8 Amp Charge Controller from Nature Power allows you to take advantage of a free and natural energy source, the sun, to power your electronics and 12 volt batteries. Solar panels offer an environmentally friendly alternative to keeping all your gadgets fully juiced and will even help cut down on electric bills by lowering your dependence on home AC outlets. It uses rugged monocrystalline solar panels but its folding design conveniently allows for it to be a fraction of the size of a traditional solar panel. The folding design makes it ideal for traveling and storage while the O-rings are great for mounting or clipping to a backpack. The 18 Watt Folding Solar Panel is weatherproof and includes 10 various make and model laptop adapters and a clamp for use with 12V batteries.

The 8 Amp Charge Controller is used in unison with the panel while charging batteries or electronic devices. It is required for use to protect the item connected to the panel from overcharging, high voltage surges, short circuits, discharging and reverse current.
