Essential Info

Add some light and color to your garden, home or pond with the Solar-Powered Floating Light Globe. No electricity is required to power this floating light globe. The solar panel inside the globe converts sunlight into electricity that is then stored in the integral rechargeable battery pack. The light switches on automatically when it gets dark and turns itself off when re-exposed to light or when the battery is fully discharged. The globe uses a white plastic housing so that the LED can easily shine through, glowing in every color in the spectrum.

The Solar-Powered Floating Light Globe can be inserted into your home or garden's décor in a variety of ways. A pedestal is included for secure positioning inside your home on a windowsill.A bright LED shines through the globe's UV-resistant, translucent housing to create a sphere of ever-changing color. Not recommended for use in chlorinated water

    First globe didn't work after charging in sunshine and then with a NIMH charger. Globe was replaced free, workeed initially, palced in pool, got lots of water in globe and hasn't worked since. Placed in garbage.

    Bought two. Neither one worked. Gave the first as a gift and by the time it was opened and discovered it didn't work, I was past the 30 refund period. Returned the second and after about a month will finally be getting refunded. No questions or complications on the return, but I don't like paying shipping for something that was broken when it arrived. If you want this product, search for Item #33409 (smart solar chameleon smart globe). That one worked GREAT!

    I originally ordered two of these solar powered floating light globes. One of them worked and the other did not. It was exchanged for a new one, very quickly I might add, now they are both glowing brightly and changing colors. They have made a great addition to my backyard pond. In fact, I will probably order another to create an even more stunning light show in the pond.

    The batteries that came with the light wouldn't hold a charge for more than one hour. I replaced the batteries and now the unit will last for about 7 hours if the sun has been out all day. By hour 5 the light has gotten dim, but does still work.

    Although the first one I ordered did not work, Smarthome sent a second one to me when I reported the difficulty. They also sent via the internet a shipping label for a free return. The second one appears to be working fine and provides a really lovely focal point on the patio every evening. Kids love it! It is easy to install and, if it keeps working, will be great value for the money spent.

    These work! They've been glowing in my front garden for weeks now. I've had 2 others that I've owned for 2 years and they glow summer and winter. I purchased 4 more to create a line down my front garden. I love these more than those other solar powered garden stakes that are much more costly. They give much more light. And, these are very durable!
