During the day, the solar panels will convert sunlight into electricity and recharge the included rechargeable battery. In the evening, the Floating Solar Accent Light will turn on automatically. Super-bright LED bulbs provide up to eight hours of light when batteries are fully charged (the hours of light per charge depends on your geographical location, weather conditions and seasonal lighting availability). In addition, a waterproof and impact-resistant translucent polycarbonate light housing shines with an incredible prismatic light effect.
Although the Ni-Cd rechargeable battery included with every unit is designed to provide years of reliable use, most rechargeable batteries do begin to deplete after several years. When this happens, the battery can be easily replaced. Replacement batteries are sold separately.
Choose from a variety of colors. In addition to the red light, Floating Solar Accent Lights are available in amber, blue, green or white.
