With pitcher filters, your water is only as clean as the filter you use. The Zuvo Water Purator uses a patented Puration process that uses nature's own cleansing process right in your kitchen. The five step filtration method uses Ozonation, Ultraviolet (UV) Light, Photo-oxidation, Filtration with lead removal and Post-filtration UV. The combination of these steps treats the water and creates contaminant reduction of: Lead 99%, Cysts 99.98%, Chlorine Taste/Odor 99% and Sacchararmocyces/Cerevisiae 99.9%, it even works on hard water. The result is healthy, clean, great-tasting water right from your tap. Taste test revealed that Zuvo water was chosen 7 times out of 7 over tap water. The filter is designed to last up to six months and the UV lamp is designed to last up to three years (each depending on use). The Zuvo has a durable construction and can be conveniently mounted above or below your counter; below the counter requires a Butler Faucet Kit, sold separately. If your Zuvo Water Purator is installed on the countertop and you use the diverter assembly with your faucet, you can run normal tap water through your faucet without using the Zuvo Purator. The Zuvo Five-step Filtration Precess
The Zuvo Water Purator uses a patented five-step process to produce clean, healthy, great tasting water...just the way nature intended!
- Step 1: OZONATION
In nature, ozone is generated by lightning and cleans the air where rainwater forms. The Zuvo Water Purator mixes ozone with incoming tap water to treat taste and odor contaminants and improve taste. Like chlorine, ozone is a powerful oxidizer. Unlike chlorine, ozone leaves no chemical residue.
- Step 2: ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
The ozone saturated water is flooded with high-intensity UV light - the same as the solar energy that cleans water in the upper atmosphere.
- Step 3: PHOTO-OXIDATION
The Zuvo Water Purator combines UV and ozone in a patented process known as photo-oxidation which releases powerful oxidizers to further treat the water.
- Step 4: FILTRATION with LEAD REMOVAL
Pure spring water is created by passing through fine particles in the earth. Zuvo uses the same principle by passing water through a Class 1 Particulate Reduction Filter, reducing chlorine taste and odor, lead, and tiny particulates.
- Step 5: POST-FILTRATION UV
The filtered water is again exposed to high-intensity UV light as it leaves the Zuvo Water Purator, ensuring that you get clean, healthy, great tasting water...just the way nature intended!

The smartly-designed Zuvo Water Purator fits in any kitchen, either above the counter or under the counter. For those who prefer a countertop installation, the Zuvo Water Purator easily and quickly connects directly to most standard faucets. In minutes, you will be getting clean, healthy, great tasting water right from your tap. For those that prefer an under-counter installation, the Zuvo Water Purator can also be easily installed under the counter and connected directly to a Zuvo Butler Faucet. Once installed, the Zuvo Water Purator gives you easy access to clean, healthy, great tasting water right from your Zuvo Butler Faucet.
Please Note: The Zuvo Purator is not intended for disinfection of contaminated water or water that is microbiologically unsafe. Currently the Zuvo Water Purator is not rated for reduction of arsenic or fluoride. The Zuvo Purator is intended solely for the supplemental treatment of disinfected public drinking water or other drinking water that has been tested and deemed acceptable for human consumption by the state or local health agency having jurisdiction.
