The Austin Air Cleaner's filters meet true High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) standards, which require 99.97% efficiency in capturing particles larger than 0.3 microns. By eliminating these irritants from your air, you and your family members will find reduced incidences of asthma, allergic reactions, runny noses, watery eyes, headaches and even snoring! The filters contain true medical HEPA filter material, as well as activated charcoal and zeolite to absorb dangerous gases and eliminate annoying odors. The filter material lasts an amazing 5 years under normal residential use! Additional filters can be purchased separately.
Quiet, Cool Operation
The Austin Air Cleaner is very quiet, reaching just 20dB on the low setting and 64dB on the high setting. Plus, because it is powered by a Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motor, you won't get that irritating 60Hz hum that you find in other air cleaners. The motor is designed for continuous 24-hour operation with absolutely no danger of overheating. Constructed with round-cornered welded steel, Austin Air Cleaner is mounted on casters for easy mobility.
