Plug the Austin Allergy Machine into any 120V outlet in your home, and you'll be breathing cleaner air in as little as 30 minutes! The HEPA filter, originally developed by the British military to combat chemical attacks, consists of two integrated filters, which eliminate tiny particles and odors from the air. Air flows through a high-quality HEPA filter first, eliminating 99.97 percent of all particles larger than .3 microns, including animal dander, dehydrated bird excrement, pollen, dust, and other allergens. Then air flows through a carbon cloth filter, eliminating unpleasant odors from animals, cooking, and cigarette smoke, as well as chemicals that can cause allergic reactions.
The unique weave of the carbon cloth filter reduces dust while increasing the surface area, so the filter performs better, weighs less, and lasts longer. Filters will last 5 years with typical use; replacement filters are sold separately.
