With the use of the pre-installed brushes, these help loosen any build-up of dirt, algae, etc. The height of the brushes also creates a gap between the vacuum head and floor surface which maximizes suction of the unit. The brushes help scrub and loosen dirt allowing for maximum performance and suction power as well.
