Your meats will never be dried out from overcooking again when you use this meat thermometer. You can use one of the four doneness preset options (beef, pork, veal, or poultry) according to USDA doneness standards. Or create your own setting based on your personal preferences. Once you program your meat type and doneness/temperature, the thermometer estimates the amount of time it will take for your food to cook through.

All information is displayed on the LCD display for easy monitoring. You’ll be able to see how long your food has been cooking and how much longer it needs to cook to reach the desired doneness. You’ll even be able to see your food’s target temperature and what its present temperature is. As your food cooks, the thermometer will issue reminders so you can gauge the remaining cooking time without looking at the LCD display. Reminder alerts are issued when 30, 20, 10, and 5 minutes cooking time remains. Alerts can be set as a voice, speaking in either English or French, as a beep or even turned off. When the poultry setting is chosen, the thermometer even reminds you to baste. With this anticipation thermometer, you’ll be free to prepare your side dishes or even relax for a few minutes without worrying that you are overcooking or undercooking your meat dishes.

The anticipation thermometer requires the use of three AAA batteries, included.
