Safe for oven or barbecue use, the Digital Timer w/Removable Remote Beeper helps you to avoid dangerous bacteria by making sure your meat's cooked all the way through. Insert the food probe into the meat and run the wire through the oven or barbecue door to the timer unit. Set your target food temperature, and when it is reached, the oven thermometer's alert will sound, and the pager will beep up to 100 feet away.
If you don't need the probe, you can still set the timer for count-up or count-down and receive a page 100 feet away when your designated time is reached. Pager use is optional.
