Proximity tags for use with Doormates Automatic Patio Door System

Essential Info

This kit offers hands free opening of the Doormate system within a programmable range. Simply attach the keyless tag to your pet's collar and when your pet approaches the door from either the inside or out, the keyless tag activates the Doormate and your patio door automatically. Keyless tags can also be affixed to wheelchair, walkers, etc (includes two keyless tags).

"I thought this was a coded transmitter, but instead it appears to be operated with a magnetic tag. Radios (speaker magnets) and some metalic items when passed close to sensor will cause door to open. Not the greatest if you have security concerns.
