Essential Info
The Somfy 1800219 Dry Contact Switch can be connected to a single or a group of Somfy Motors to control your window coverings. With the press of a button you can open or close your blinds. Since the Dry Contact Switch is wired to the motor there is no chance of the signal not being received. The Dry Contact Switch will let you open or close the window coverings to the height you want. Simply press the up arrow to open or down arrow to close and when they reach the height you want, press the stop button. Control is easily expanded using the secondary 4 wire terminal block on the switch. Simply connect any contact closure device to trigger the up, down, and stop commands. For instance, you can easily connect your INSTEON devices with the I/O Linc - INSTEON Low Voltage / Contact Closure Interface ( 1 In / 1 Out ). Then, an INSTEON command will be able to open or close your window coverings.
