Easy InstallationPerfect for locations where you don't have existing drapery rods, the system is incredibly easy to install. An instructional video guides you through the simple process. Just cut the rod to the length you want with a hacksaw and install as you would a normal drape rod. Then clip the motor to one end and plug it into an AC outlet. Drapes can be stopped at any intermediate position, so you won't lose any flexibility by adding this automated system.
Available Accessories Add to the System's ConvenienceA wireless remote control is included with the Makita 18-Foot Double Drape System. Want to control them from more than one remote? An extra 1-motor remote control is sold separately. You can even control this system using an X10 controller via a Universal Module (to control via X10, you'll need the optional contact closure interface). Four are included, but if you need it, a 9-foot replacement rod is also available.
Additional Lengths AvailableThe Makita 18-Foot Double Drape System is designed for center-opening drapes up to 18 feet long on both ends. An 18-foot side-opening single drape system and a 9-foot side-opening single drape system are also available. If you're planning an installation in a custom size, a 6-inch connecting joint is available to modify Makita drape systems.
