needs to come with power supply built in for drapes way to bulky when the paower supply is pluged into it

Love the automatic drapes, but the receiver seems to be the weak link. This is the second one I've replaced and the third is starting to work intermittently.

Works as described. No problems.... so far.

One thing that's not great about this item is that it's recommended for use with the CL-3142 drape controller. The drape controller comes with a "wall wart" power supply and the reciever has the AC jack on the bottom. That means that when you plug the receiver in the wall and the "wall wart" into the receiver you not only end up with a huge mess sticking out from the wall socket, but the wart can actually fall out the bottom of the receiver. Not a great design combo.

Nice that it was so cheap. I expected that other remote devices like this in nearby apartments would interfere. So far no problems.
