The BTX Roller Shade Solar Motor Assembly Surcharge is needed when you are purchasing a BTX Motor Controlled Roller Shade and would like to add a solar panel. When the surcharge is added to your order, BTX will substitue the standard motor with the solar motor and appropriate componantes. This will provide you with a complete system that is ready to install without any other power source required.
