Now you can enjoy the convenience of motorized drapes at home! This drape motor makes motorized drape control affordable. Works with both cord and ball chain type pulls. Simply hang at the bottom of the U loop of the drape pull cord, attach wall bracket and plug AC adapter into any standard timer. No cutting of the pull cord is required. Choose your controlIf you're like most people, you want more control options. That's why our customers choose to control this motor using an ApplianceLinc and your choice of INSTEON control: - Computer/Internet control
If you want to control it from a computer or any web-enabled phone, set up scheduled timers, we recommend choosing the SmartLinc controller. - Control it from a universal TV remote
The IRLinc Receiver can learn signals from a universal remote and translate the signal into INSTEON commands to control the ApplianceLinc. The IRLinc Receiver also includes a small remote which can be used to activate the ApplianceLinc or to learn IR commands into a universal remote. - Activate the drapes from an in-wall keypad
Replace an existing wall switch with an elegant KeypadLinc. The large buttons control what the switch you replaced used to control while the other four buttons can be linked to the ApplianceLinc or any other INSTEON device.
This is only a sample of the many ways INSTEON can enhance control of this drape motor. You can also control your drapes via a remote control or control them with an automatic timer.

How the motor works
Apply power and it moves from the current position to one limit position. Remove and reapply power and it will reverse and move to the opposite limit. Remove power at any intermediate point and it will stop.
