Essential Info

Pirit Water Line heated hoses solve the problems of delivering water outdoors in temperatures below freezing. Ideal for users who need a constant or occasional water supply in freezing temperatures. This PVC hose can remain plugged in at all times or be plugged in only as needed. Frozen water in the hose thaws when plugged back in. A 72", 110-volt electrical cord set is attached, which activates a thermostatically controlled heating element built into each hose. Heating element turns on if the air temperature is below 45°F and shuts off at 57°F. 5/8" I.D. Hose is FDA approved for potable water. Ideal for livestock waterers, kennels and RVs. Available in 25-ft. or 50-ft. lengths with standard ¾" brass garden hose threads. 25-ft. hose draws 200 watts and the 50-ft. hose draws 400 watts. Imported.
NOTE: Heated hoses should only be used with GFCI outlets.

Just returned from a 2 week RV trip in western Ne. Some night time temps dropped to -30. Highs in the day time were mid-teens. Hoses worked well with RV, but you must do your homework. Hose must be wrapped to work in low wind chills. Cover and wrap your water supply. Last night in trailer it was -27 and water flowed all night. Pasted all tests I could come up with.
