Essential Info

The 9001D 3/4" hose end timer with LCD display gives you precise control of your garden hose and devices connected to it. The 9001D has a female hose thread inlet and a male hose thread outlet that can be connected to an outdoor faucet or to the end of a garden hose. The hose end timer uses a 9-volt alkaline battery (available separately) that lasts for up to one year. The timer is simple to program using six programming buttons. The left button is used only for a "rain off" or system shutoff, the button on the right is used for manual on/off and the four buttons in the middle are used to program this unit.

Good product, but has to be replaced every couple of years as the solenoid inside it seizes up from rust... would be a fantastic product if the casing was sealed better!

It is unfortunate that a product gets a five star rating just because it works. However, this is in fact the first of these kinds of devices that has lasted and worked correctly for more than a week. I am completely satisfied with this product and would not only purchase more as needed, I would strongly recommend it to others since I have not found any others that work . . . It is quite easy and intuitive to program, and the one-button ability to turn the water on and off is a big plus.

Great timers. I have several. The batteries can last as long as two seasons and I leave them out over the Winter. They have proven to be weather tolerant. They also have plenty of programming flexibility. They are easy to program.
