If you already own or plan to purchase a Cyber-Rain XCI 8-Zone or 16-Zone Automated Sprinkler Controller, you will note that each are designed for a typical indoor installation only. However if you are replacing an existing controller that is installed outside with a Cyber-Rain Controller, or you simply want your new Cyber-Rain controller to be mounted outside, the Cyber-Rain Single Controller Weatherproof Outdoor Box Kit is the answer. The kit features a water-resistant, lockable NEMA enclosure that provides safe and secure housing for one Cyber-Rain sprinkler controller without interfering with the wireless radio transmission. The compact size of this enclosure makes it ideal for locations with space requirements such as equipment closets. Cable access to the inside of the enclosure is via three rubber cable glands. The Cyber-Rain controller can be mounted inside the box by using the included hook-and-loop tape or the four mounting stand-offs.
