The XCI Cloud complete kit includes a wireless access point which connects to the internet allowing the Cloud to receive live weather information free of charge, for adjusting watering needs and allowing the user to monitor, program, or control the system remotely from anywhere in the world. This saves you water and money on your utility bill, as well as preventing the hassle and cost of plant replacement. The XCI Cloud stops the sprinkler system on rainy days, automatically decreases the watering schedule on cold or humid days, and increases it on hot and dry days. The slope of the land where each plant is located is taken into consideration to prevent wasted water from run off. It also saves water and plants by alerting you of any failed or broken valves. Unlike timer systems, Cyber-Rain keeps track of exactly how much water your sprinkler system is using allowing you to compare your 'before' and 'after' water bills to see the difference.

Cyber-Rain is able to create its own 2-Way wireless network using the access points which plug into your home network. Updates to scheduling are sent to the controller automatically. Then a record of irrigation is sent back. One access point can be used for communicating with an unlimited amount of Cyber-Rain controllers. The Smart scheduling wizard will assist in the setup of your schedules. The XCI Cloud can be accessed from anywhere in the world using a computer or mobile device like smart-phones. Because it is connected to the internet it is able to receive weather reports free of charge. These reports help determine how much water is needed for the plants. Other information is used to automatically adjust water cycles. The slope of the land or where the plant is buried, the type of plant, and the type of soil the plant has been planted in all are used to for determining how much water is needed.
