Even if you don't have an in-ground sprinkler system, you can still automate your watering schedule. Connect your hose to this timer, and you'll be able to water your yard on your specified schedule, even if you forget or are on vacation. The 2-Dial Hose Faucet Timer connects easily using snap connectors and offers a wide variety of watering times and days. The Hose Faucet Timer is powered by three AA batteries, sold separately.

Convert any outdoor faucet to automatic watering for lawns, gardens, or drip irrigation. No complicated programming is required with the Hose Faucet Timer — simply set two dials for start time and watering duration. Water a single time or schedule watering at any of 10 watering interval options from every two hours to once per week; the watering duration can be set to any of eight watering duration options, from two to 120 minutes.

The 2-Dial Hose Faucet Timer easily installs to a standard hose thread 3/4" FHT x MHT outdoor faucet. Manual watering is still possible without interrupting the watering schedule.

If you prefer to program your hose timer in a location remote from the actual hose faucet, try the Hose Faucet Timer w/Remote, which can be operated from up to 25 feet away.

below average. the timer jams and stays in the open position. it works at 1/2 pressure, not enough to power the sprinkler i use. Maybe I can make one that actually delivers as expected. but the product was delivered quickly. i will buy more products from smarthome thanks steve

This item was returned the following day. There is no way to program it to come on when you want to preset the watering. I did not catch that in your discription.

It requires batteries every season, and often will not shut off. If you want it to water at night, you must start it at that time of the night. The contacts within the battery compartment often need cleaning. Support from the mfg was very sub standard, and a replacement was never received, even tho it was promised.

timer is hard to use since it you cannot set time of day. Timed cycles start from the time the cycle is chosen by moveing dial A, and if dial A is moved, the time starts over. I wanted to water at 2AM every 48 hours, so I had be awake to set the cycle at 2AM - and I could never be sure it was set right.

It works quite well and it's simple, low-priced, and small. It would be nice to know two things - (1) what time is it set for - it's easy to forget when you set it (2) the last time it successfully ran - just for peace of mind and wondering if the kids re-set it. Also, some time selection between 15 and 30 minutes might be nice, but that is a nit. Overall, very nice, especially for the price.
