Essential Info
Programming your lawn and garden irrigation cycle is an excellent way to preserve resources, conserve water when restrictions have been imposed in your area, and to maintain the look of your lawn and garden while you are away from home. The Sprinkler Timer with Wireless Remote is a Signature Control timer by Orbit® that is specifically designed to do all of these things by automating up to twelve zones, or stations, of your irrigation system. It offers dual programming and up to six different cycle start times per program, letting you set a schedule to water the plants every day and the lawn every other day if you prefer. What sets this product apart from others is the ease of programming. It has a large back-lit LCD display that operates day or night in English, Spanish, French, German or Italian. The timer also has the option to connect with your computer, via USB cable, for a convenient to use PC programming interface. Additionally, you can use the wireless remote to program the timer and turn stations on or off over radio frequency (RF), up to 300 feet away. An optional wireless rain/freeze sensor can be purchased separately if you wish to have your timer automatically cut back on water usage for a period of time after rain falls. An Orbit 6 Zone Sprinkler Timer with Remote is also available, sold separately. Note: This item is rated for indoor use only.

Water Budgeting
A great feature of the Sprinkler Timer with Wireless Remote is the ability to make quick changes to your watering durations. Through the use of the water budgeting option, you can change the amount of time the water will run for all stations from 10% to 200%. This feature can be used simply to conserve water, conserve money on your utility bill or if it has recently rained, you may not need to water as much.
Non-Volatile Memory
This device has an internal memory source (EEPROM) that will store your program settings. In the event that the power should fail or batteries should die, you will not lose the stored information.
PC Programmable
If you are more comfortable working from a computer, you can download the PC software to program and monitor your timer. The package includes a USB cable to allow communication between the timer and your PC.
