This product solves a unique problem of getting electrical current to a valve that does not have AC power. However, they don't tell you that the solenoid needed for each valve is NOT included in the box and the manual describes. It will power up to four valves, but the valves have to be the ORBIT brand, and it doesnt tell you that either. So, it is a very useful product if you realize that you have to purchase ORBIT valves and new ORBIT solenoids to make it work. Starts out being reasonable in price, but after purchasing the timer, the four valves, and four solenoids, you are looking at a purchase price of over $220. On the plus side, after you put it all together, it works great.

Love the product, however, I am still waiting for the second unit I ordered at the same time.
