Essential Info

If you want extra protection for sensitive electrical circuits, try the ELK TRG2440 Low-Voltage Heavy-Duty 24V AC Power Supply / Transformer. It features a built-in auto-resetting fuse. The unit will automatically reset after a short circuit once the short has been cleared, eliminating the need to replace a fuse if the wires get shorted during installation. At 24V AC, this transformer is ideal for powering thermostats, dampers, zone controlled HVAC systems, lawn irrigation, sprinkler valves, surveillance cameras, or any other device requiring 24V AC power. The unit plugs into a standard 110/120V outlet, and a screw is provided to secure it to the outlet.

    This power supply will replace two company furnished replacement supplies that have failed. It powers a reverse osmosis pump. So far, over three weeks almost continuous running it dosen't even get very warm - a good sign for longevity.

    Did not come with any cord. Irrigation controller that required this power supply did not come with wire either. Bummed that I spent $150 for these two matched pieces and had to go to Home Depot to get additional part. It would have been nice if there was a note that mentioned this fact during purchase.
