Connect a remote temperature sensor to your thermostat, and you'll have better control over the temperature of your home, since home temperatures tend to vary and the thermostat may not be mounted in the room you spend the most time in. The Proliphix Surface-Mount Indoor Sensor provides precision room temperature sensing for the IP Thermostat w/Remote Sensor Capability network thermostat. The temperature sensor's active sensing element is made of a highly stable precision thermistor material accurate to within +/- .36° F (0.2° C). Sold separately, the IP Thermostat w/Remote Sensor Capability will support up to two remote sensors, which it can use to average the temperature across multiple rooms to avoid wasting energy. Additional sensors are sold separately.

Mount the Proliphix Surface-Mount Indoor Sensor indoors either vertically or horizontally. The separate base plate may be mounted directly to the drywall or on a standard electrical outlet box without adapters. The cover is secured with tamper-proof hex screws. The temperature sensor's vented housing allows for quick temperature response.
The IP Thermostat w/Remote Sensor Capability can be controlled directly at the unit or monitored and adjusted remotely over an authenticated, secure and free Internet connection through the Proliphix website. The IP Thermostat w/Remote Sensor Capability is also available to be purchased in a kit with a 6-Port Power Adapter or a 2-Port Power Adapter.
