Get complete local and remote control of virtually any thermostat function with this X10 Bi-Directional HVAC System that not only responds to X10 commands, but also has the ability to send reports via X10. When used with one of the intelligent controllers listed below, your system can automatically respond with any action (i.e. turn on a ceiling fan, open or close dampers, etc.) when certain temperatures are reached. Yet with all its automated features, the system still offers full, manual control when you're home.

Depending on the controller, the X10 Bi-Directional HVAC System can provide it the current temperature. This information can be used to make decisions, run macros, or notify you that something is wrong. For example, with HAL Deluxe, you can call your home and ask it what the temperature is in the living room and then instruct it to make adjustments to the thermostat accordingly.

3036F Pool/Spa Remote Temperature Sensor
With the remote sensor version (3046C) and a pool/spa sensor (3036F) you can even monitor and control your pool or spa temperature via X10. This 6 ft. long 1/2" diameter unit is installed in-line with the pool or spa water circulation plumbing. In most installations this will require fitting a T-junction in the plumbing. The sensor connects to the Wall Display Unit.

3046C Wall Mount Remote Temp. Sensor
The 3046C Wall Mount Remote Temp. Sensor replaces the internal temperature sensor in the Wall Display Unit with an external sensor. This allows you to control and monitor temperatures in locations away from the display unit. Also, if the present location of your thermostat does not accurately sense the home's average temperature, place the Wall Mount Remote Temperature Sensor (3046C) in a different location.

3036D Weatherproof Remote Temp. Sensor
The optional remote temperature sensor will connect in place of the Wall Display Unit included in the kit. This product is ideal if you need the heating and air conditioning system to be based on outdoor temperatures. This sensor reports the current conditions directly to the Control Unit. It has as an accuracy of +/- 1°F and a range of 0° to 127°F.

All the external temperature sensors communicate digitally with the Wall Display Unit (thermostat) eliminating calibration and interference problems. The sensor can be located up to 500 ft. away using 22-gauge unshielded 2-pair wire or Cat. 5 cable.
