Essential Info
The Aprilaire System Controller is the "smarts" of the Aprilaire HVAC Automation System. Working in conjunction with the Aprilaire Communicating Thermostat (sold separately), the System Controller provides the means to manage comfort and control the energy costs that heating and cooling represent.

By adding the System Controller to your Communicating Thermostat, you'll receive a convenient, easy-to-use central control point for your home's heating and cooling needs. Mount the System Controller where it can be easily connected to your distribution panel and connect it to your network or computer (panel and computer sold separately). The System Controller's intuitive interface allows you to establish individual thermostat schedules and set basic system-wide settings.
You'll be able to access your system through any standard computer and web browser. From the interface, add and configure thermostats or determine their settings and weekly as well as daily schedules. Create schedules for individual thermostats or groups of thermostats, whether in areas of your home or in different offices of your business. Security measures are in place to prevent unauthorized access.
The System Controller can accommodate up to 16 thermostats and can be configured to send emails for alert conditions, such as if a thermostat isn't responding when the temperature of its environment is too high or too low.
At any time, you can view the current inside temperature of any thermostat-controlled area, as well as the system's activity over the hour, day, week or month; you can even view the history of the thermostat for several months.
