Essential Info
The Venstar Lock Ring for Platinum Thermostats is a great way to lock the access door and prevent the reprogramming located on the inside of your HVAC thermostat. This wallplate works with Venstar T1700, T1800, T1900, T2700, T2800, T2900, T2900SCH and TSTATEZ Platinum thermostats. It fits nicely over the face of a compatible thermostat and requires no tools to be installed, the thermostat does not need to be removed, and no wiring needs to be disconnected for the installation. Once it has been mounted in place, two keys are included to lock it up. This product is ideal for both the home and office environment, preventing the kids or co-workers from running up the electricity bill. Please Note: All Venstar Slimline Platinum thermostats allow for keypad lockout to render the buttons inoperable and Venstar Slimline Platinum Commercial thermostats have set point limiting features that make the Lock Ring the perfect choice.
