This wallplate works with Venstar T1010 and T1050 thermostats; a separate Venstar wallplate is available that works with Venstar T1700, T1800, T1900, T2700, T2800, T2900, T2900SCH and TSTATEZ thermostats. The wallplate is designed to make mounting a new Venstar thermostat easy. Additionally, the plate is extended to cover the area on a wall around a new thermostat, hiding scratches or paint marks that may have been left behind from an old thermostat.
