Full featured and has lots of different options to customize the wway it operates. The installation was simple and the instructions were easy to understand and it copletely met my needs.

Coupled with the Insteon adapter and the ISY, this thermostat provides easy, intuitive control and monitoring of my home's heating and cooling system. Couldn't be happier, now that I've also added thermostat control to my Droid with the Conductor app available through the Android market.

Works well. Had problems setting it up with my relay but support was helpful. Professional unit. Keep in mind that if you are using this with the tel controller you cannot use the INSTEON wireless units. I got burned with this in a recent purchase for other zones in my house.

Very cool. Can tweak every little setting imaginable including the heat/cool setpoint differential and deadband. I may never have to touch the thermostat again! (seriously, never) My house never strays more than 2 degrees, day or night, spring, winter, fall or summer. Other thermostats don't give you quite that much flexibility plus the extension port. Can't wait to add the Insteon adapter.

Works well but you may run into installation issues if you currently have a battery-operated thermostat without a common connection.

I bought this thermostat in 2007 and it has worked quite well until recently. The backlight has failed. I'm a little disappointed that I only got a couple of years of use out of it. My other two complaints are that it isn't always intuitive to program like resetting filter and the backlight when it worked could only be turned on my changing the settings. A light button would have been very useful. For that reason alone I may not replace with same model.

I give this thermostat two thumbs up...! The ability to program each day individually, adjust deadband (hysteresis), independently program furnace fan operation, calibrate temperature read-out, and monitor furnace filter usage, make this a great tool for cutting engergy costs and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions. There are many other useful functions as well. I did a lot of research before selecting this thermostat and found few that offered the flexibility and control of this unit. It is also marketed under the "Totaline" brand name. Totaline is a thermostat product line offered by Carrier Corp. Venstar is the manufacturer however, and seems to sell a little less than the Totaline counterpart. Hope this helps. Happy thermostating...!
