The SunRise Solar FB1250RP-FT 20 Watt Flat Base Solar Attic Fan with Remote Solar Panel and Thermostat has a remote solar panel that can be mounted anywhere you can find sun on the roof. On a north-facing roof slope the remote panel can be placed over the ridge on the south side, allowing the solar panel to catch the most direct sun. The solar attic fan is a unique, solar-powered vent fan that forcibly expels hot air, providing fresh and cool air to keep your attic from overheating. It also comes with a thermostat to help you determine the current room temperature. The tough, weather-resistant advanced solar panels collect energy even in reduced light and poor weather conditions, and it delivers power directly from the sun to a highly efficient 12-volt DC motor inside the power vent to provide maximum cooling effect when it's needed most: in the middle of the day. These solar attic fans are powerful enough to protect an entire home.

Fan Blade
Specially designed 5-blade, 12" aluminum fan is pitched for maximum air flow. It operates whisper quiet with no harmonic noise.
Stainless Steel Screen
Keeps animals out while allowing maximum air flow.
Mounting Hardware
Stainless steel motor brackets and vertical standoffs provide a flexible and adjustable frame for easy removal or replacement.
Thermostat
This products features a fixed thermostat that is designed to automatically turn the fan on and off at a preset temperature. For example, if temperatures in your attic rise to 80° the fan will automatically turn on and once the heat has been reduced to 65° the fan will automatically switch off.
Mounting
This product features a flat base mount, which is ideal for normal sloped shingle roofs. Curb base mounts and gable mount are also available, sold separately.
