Maintain your room at incredibly stable temperatures and get remote X10 setback control. This state-of-the-art, solid state, 2-wire line thermostat replaces conventional baseboard heater thermostats. Controls temperature range between 6-30 degrees celsius. It electronically throttles the output of the heater(s) 3,600 times per hour to provide exactly the amount of heat needed. This process allows the thermostat to maintain temperatures within +/- 0.4 degrees. Conventional thermostats can cause temperature fluctuations of as much as +/- 2 degrees. Stable temperatures are more comfortable and can provide significant energy savings (up to 18%).An additional feature is the ability to remotely or automatically setback (lower) the temperature setting by a preset amount (3-15 degrees Celsius) through X10 control.Simply send an X10 signal from any X10 transmitter to your chosen X10 address set back the temperature at night, or when you leave the house. Send another X10 signal to reset it to the regular setting in the morning or when you come home. You can even control the setback by phone with an X10 telephone responder.Only available with Celsius calibration. Currently only CSA approved.
