Works great. Would be better with built in thermostat.

My Thru-Wall fan is great. Quieter than expected. Installation went well. Two comments are that my wall was 1 inch thicker than min but with some foil tape it was fixed. The other is that it would be great to have a power light on it being so quiet.

Excellent product. It is VERY quiet, and it moves a lot of air, even at low speeds. The template provided made installation easy and precise. You must be able to do electrical wiring--perhaps picking power off a nearby outlet fixture--or you need help from an electrician, because this fan gets "hard wired" into the electrical system. But this feature also makes for a clean, professional-looking job. I installed my low, near the baseboard, and I "push" cold air from the cold corner, by the bedroom floor, behind a piece of furniture, into the room with the wood stove. Warm air then circulates from the ceiling through the open bedroom doorway into the bedroom and gradually cools, drops and gets recirculated by the fan. The fan and the doorway are separated by as much distance as possible to ensure best circulation. This is VERY effective, and the room is very warm. I plan to install another for a cold bedroom on the second floor.

Was hoping for something a little quieter but I'm not sure there is a better option than this.

Extremely simple to install. Love the variable speed technology. Not whisper quiet but quiet enough for my purposes. I am using two of these for two rooms to move cold air from one room to the other two. Along with these fans, I am using a 110 volt thermostat, so they are pretty much automated now! Good quality parts. I hit a home run with these fans!

These are Great!!! We are heating exclusively with wood this winter and these little fans can flat circulate some air. We used one in each of the bedroom walls to get more heat in there without having to use any supplemental heat. The wiring was a little tricky but some of that had to do with our house being so old. We set up a regular light switch for power so we don't have to climb up the wall to turn them on and off. They were definitly worth the money!

Very good product for the price. I had read some of the reviews about this product and people having issues with it not working. This was not my experience. Also for a 100 - 200 CFM fan, it is very quiet. However, it is intalled closer to the peak of my vaulted ceilings. Overall, SMARTHOME is very reliable company and I would order from them again.
