Essential Info
There may be instances where a room is either too small or it is otherwise undesirable to have a second light fixture on the ceiling. Natural Light has an ingenious solution! The light kit can be installed in the previous fixture's ceiling rough out or can be added anywhere with additional electrical wiring. The light kit can hold standard, CFL (compact fluorescent) or LED light bulbs.
The light kit adds an electric light fixture into your tubular skylight for night time use. The light fixture is installed directly into the lower portion of the light pipe and is wired to a wall switch. For maximum energy efficiency, Natural Light recommends using CFL or LED bulbs.

Light Kit Installation
Installation of the light kit is very straightforward, but does require electrical wiring skills. A small hole is drilled in the lower section of the light pipe to accommodate the light fixture. The main lamp bracket comes assembled, but needs to be attached to the light pipe with the supplied nuts and washers. The kit must be wired to 120 VAC supply according to local codes and must be properly grounded. Complete instructions are included with each kit for easy installation. Additional wiring may require a licensed professional.
