Essential Info
Your home is just like everyone else's in one regard: there is one room that is always the wrong temperature. Or you realize you're paying money to heat Junior's room, but he left for college a year ago. You need a zoning system. Use a damper to adjust air flow to each room in your home to get just the right level of comfort. This 16" damper is easy to install in your existing ductwork, then install the damper's thermostat in the room in question. The thermostat communicates with the damper using RF over 915MHz. When the thermostat calls for heating or cooling, the damper remains closed until a sensor in the damper determines whether the aie in the duct is warmer or cooler than called for. If the room needs heat but the duct air is cold, the damper remains closed. Conversly, if the room needs cooling but the duct air is warm, it remains closed. Powered by your HVAC system's 24VAC circuit.
