How It Sets Up and WorksThe 16" diameter fan easily attaches to most attic rafters. The only visible piece is the 14" diffuser/vent in the ceiling. The assembled unit arrives equipped with four steel damper doors for a well-sealed closure when the fan is off to eliminate any unwanted air coming in or escaping out of your home. A thermal safety overload switch has been added to prevent the unit from overheating. The unit is maintenance free. There are no filters to replace or belts to change, and this long-lasting fan carries a 3-year warranty.
