Ceiling fans cut down on energy costs while adding a cool breeze to any room. The 16-Inch Remote-Control Wall/Ceiling Fan mounts easily on any wall or ceiling, and since it includes an AC power cord, you don't need to run wires through walls to power it. You also won't need to cross the room to adjust this ceiling fan's speed: Just a click on the full-function remote control will select one of 10 speed settings or switch from fixed to oscillating mode. A built-in speed control microprocessor simulates the ebb and flow of a cool spring breeze. The remote is powered by two AA batteries (sold separately).
