Essential Info
The Thermostatic Ceiling Fan and Light Remote Control System is a great alternative to an air conditioner as a way to keep a specific room or area of your home cool. The system gives you the ability to turn your ceiling fan on and off and adjust the fan speed via remote control. Also, it gives the option to turn your ceiling fan light on and off and to dim the light from 20% to 100% brightness. The best part about this system is that the remote control has a built-in thermostat, which can be set to a specific temperature between 59° F to 99° F. When the temperature rises above your desired set point, the fan will automatically turn on until the temperature is brought back down. This setup is ideal when you simply need to cool one particular room or area of your home, eliminating the need to turn on your costly air conditioner which sends cool air throughout your home instead of where you need it most. The system also features timer options that let you set a time frame to have the ceiling fans and/or lights turn off automatically after 0.5 to 24 hours of use. All of the controls and settings are displayed on a large LCD screen located on the remote control. The transmitter (remote control) unit requires the use of four AAA batteries, sold separately. Please Note: This system will work with most ceiling fan units, except those with a built-in remote control system; additionally, it is not designed to change the spin direction of fans with forward/reverse fan movement. Do not use with solid state fans.
