Essential Info
This universal communicating thermostat is truly universal, accommodating heating/cooling, fossil fuel, heat pumps, geothermal, fan only, programmable or non-programmable operation, controls humidifiers and dehumidifiers, and even sends maintenance reminders. The large 10.3 sq in touchscreen displays current indoor and outdoor temperatures and indoor relative humidity (on-board sensor), set temperature, time & date, system controls, and messages. The large font size and bright backlight make it easy to read. The thermostat uses plain language programming, so no manual is necessary. Build a network using multiple thermostats, indoor and outdoor temperature sensors, a distribution panel,, and temperature or temp/humidity support modules. Connect to your home automation system with the Protocol Adapter. Thermostat is powered by the 24VAC HVAC circuit with two AA batteries (included) as the backup power source. This thermostat is very similar to the Universal Touchscreen Thermostat, except it adds humidity control and its extensive communication abilities.
